About

I would love you to get to know me through my blog posts, but here are a few little teasers to get you by for the time being.

Recently, I turned 30. The big three oh. And oh was it fun! I always thought I’d have some kind of mini meltdown, however I celebrated the occasion in style! One of my besties, Shanelle, turned thirty the same week, and following the success of our joint 21st party bus, we thought we’d do it all again and have a joint thirtieth. We had a blast, so many friends and family came and we danced the night away. Throw in a night away with my fiancĂ© at the Prince Hotel, dinner at Movida and a holiday to (what was meant to be) Tahiti, but was changed to a holiday in New York, and I considered myself the luckiest girl on earth.

This year also saw me get engaged to my lovely fiancĂ© Ryan. That was a complete surprise. He is ever so handsome. An Irish gentleman. We have been together for a few years and are set to be married in New York on May 15th 2013. I can’t wait, it just seems like such a long way away, but I’m told it’ll be here before I know it. I love nothing more than making Ryan laugh so hard that no sound comes out, he has tears rolling down his cheeks and he is rolling about holding his stomach. That makes me happy.

My job is an office job, it can be super boring, super tiring, super stressful, but also super fun! I’ve made some amazing friends in the past 5 years and I’m so excited that some of them will be at my wedding. It’s a lot to ask of people to travel from Australia to New York for your wedding but surprisingly, quite a few of them are just as excited as me and they’re already planning their outfits (this means you Anna Huff).

I love my family so much, they’re all fun, crazy, mental, and hilarious. Get us all together, add some wine and singstar and you have yourself a fabulous party! My grandparents were amazing and I miss them every day. However, I have lots of fabulous memories and they are forever in my heart. Mums dog Ralph is one of the loves of my life, he just brings me so much joy and happiness and Mum has now convinced me that he can tell the time from the clock on the wall. I believe her.

Singing and dancing at home is one of my hobbies, I pretend I’m on the X Factor and perform my heart out. No one has seen me do this. Just a silly little thing I do when home alone. I really wish I could sing, not for money or fame, just because I love love love amazing singing voices. I cannot get enough of Jennifer Hudson, Beyonce, Florence Welch, Duffy, Mariah, Brian McKnight… I could go on and on. The list is endless.

My close circle of friends are just completely amazing. They’re inspiring, strong, smart and courageous women, who I am immensely proud of. BC, LG & SB. You knows it girls.

This is just a snippet of me. There is of course lots more to know, so hopefully you keep following me and I can bring some smiles to your days.

Love to you all,
Natalie
